I had a lovely afternoon drinking your Orange Mark Pu-erh tea. It has a very gentle disposition. I enjoyed it's cool, mellow woodiness and the faint buzz I felt in my lips after sipping it. I felt a soft, warm feeling in my chest, as though someone was reassuring me while I drank it, and it made me feel calm and relaxed. It left a light, cool, somewhat sweet taste in my mouth, and a fluffy, cushioning "coating".
With later brews the coolness became more pronounced and while the overall feeling was calming I also experienced a gentle liveliness- like a brook babbling in sunlight at the end of the day. The soft, almost peppery spiciness in later cups was a pleasant surprise after the earlier cup's softness. To me it is an interesting combination of delicate and lively.
Orange Mark Pu-erh is a "moist" tea- like a fruit that just ripened but isn't yet at it's peak. I especially like the color of this tea- its ruby/amber glows in the fairness cup on my very dark tea tray. This gorgeous radiance added a lot to my enjoyment. Thank you, Daniel, for making it available.
